This year is the 40th anniversary of the Penlee Lifeboat Disaster (which actually happened in December) and I guess there was a special effort for this years blessing of the lifeboat and a parade out to sea to lay wreath with lifeboats ancient and modern came to take part. Here are a few pictures.
