Navigation and planning
I sometimes write up my planning and navigation decisions and the factors, principally the weather and tides that drive them. I do this partly for something to do whilst weather bound or stuck at home during the winter but mainly because it helps me get my thoughts in order. It also means I can quickly check back on them when needed, assuming I have an internet connection or an original that I sometimes write in Word.
